Keyboard navigation flow - administrator example
Here is an example of how to specify one time price of an already existing offer using just the keyboard. For this, you need to:
locate the offer in the offer list
open the offer in the details tab and switch the tab to the edit mode
locate and expand the Prices section
activate the One time price attribute and specify the price
update the offer
Starting point: a freshly opened Shop for the administrator.
Press until you move focus to the sidebar, then use the to move focus to the and press . The Offers list opens in the overview tab.
Press until focus moves to the first offer in the list, then use to navigate to the offer you need to modify.
You can use to move focus between individual offer attributes displayed in the list. This can be useful if screen reader is also used as an accessibility tool.
You could also use to navigate only to the Search field at the top of the offer list and search the offer instead of browsing for it using the down/up arrow keys.
Press to open the offer in the detail tab, then press until focus moves to the button in the detail tab. Press to switch to the edit mode.
Press until focus moves to the Prices section, then press to expand the section.
Press to move focus to the switch and press to flip the switch to .
Press again to move focus to the attribute and type a price value.
Press until focus moves to the button and press . The edit is saved and the detail tab switches back to the read mode. Congratulations - you have just modified the offer using only the keyboard.
